Combined Expertise, Innovation, and Capabilities of Both Companies, Along with CSC Investment in Racemi, to Drive Cloud Migration Momentum for Clients, Partners and the Industry

TYSONS, Va. & ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–CSC (NYSE: CSC), a global leader in next-generation IT services and hybrid cloud solutions, and Racemi, a U.S.-based pioneer in migrating applications to the public cloud, today announced that the companies have entered into an agreement to jointly help clients accelerate their transformation to leading cloud environments – including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and IBM Softlayer.

Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will make an investment in Racemi to accelerate development of DynaCenter, Racemi’s industry leading suite of migration automation tools. Racemi offers fast, cost effective cloud migration solutions that automatically migrate existing physical or virtual server workloads into the cloud.

The Racemi relationship will enhance CSC’s ability to lead clients’ transition to the digital enterprise and reinforces CSC’s commitment to cloud transformation. Thanks to its industry-leading CSC Agility Platform, the company provides a safe, seamless and rapid migration of enterprise workloads to the private and public cloud.

“CIO’s are driving hard to shift enterprise workloads into the cloud ecosystem, including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, to produce new innovation and business agility, maximize technology investment, and better serve employees and customers,” said Stephen Hilton, CSC executive vice president and general manager, Global Infrastructure Services. “Together, CSC and Racemi will advance the automated, highly secure migration of client infrastructures and application workloads to virtually any cloud, contributing to their success and growth.”

“Migrating to the cloud is now easier than ever, and CIOs no longer have to rebuild every application in the cloud nor face long timelines that are full of risk,” said Lawrence Guillory, CEO, Racemi. “The largest enterprises around the world are migrating entire data centers to the cloud, and they are doing so with software and services from Racemi that automate the entire process.

“With Racemi and CSC teaming up, we are providing an agile platform that provides the necessary scale required to allow any enterprise to take advantage of cloud. The benefits are clear: leveraging the experience, global reach, and cloud automation from Racemi and CSC will accelerate the value for everyone involved.”
