Dr. Bracken is Professor of Management and of Political Science at Yale University. He teaches in the fields of technology, strategy and organizational change. His courses include The Strategic Environment for Management, the required core course on business environments for all MBA students at the Yale School of Management; Strategy, Technology, and War; and Information Technology and Corporate Strategy. Professor Bracken is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations; and serves on the board of advisors for "D" Division of Los Alamos National Laboratory; the board of visitors of Joint Forces Command (Norfolk, VA); and the Chief of Naval Operations Executive Panel. He is on the boards of directors of Gerimed of America, Inc. (Denver, CO, a Medicare HMO), StatusOne, Inc. (Boston, MA, IT based management of critically ill patient populations for HMOs) and BChinaB Plastics (Shanghai and New York, making investments in the China plastics industry).
