The identification and vetting of potential investments involves a multi-level approach. Potential investments initially are reviewed by the Principals and the Investment Committee. The Strategic Advisory Group has been formed to augment the firm's capabilities to identify and evaluate certain candidate investments at various points in the investment process. Typically, these investments involve technology or applications that require more specialized experience in order to evaluate and exploit these opportunities effectively. The Strategic Advisory Group is constituted to establish a group of experts with whom Paladin's team of investment professionals can consult with regard to these investments.
