The Cellsonics platform was developed to build a novel approach to tissue disassociation using bulk lateral ultrasonic (BLU) vibrations to create precise shear stress patterns within tissue solutions, gently separating cells mechanically vs use of harsh digestive enzymes. The BLU technique improves sample fidelity and reduces genomic and biochemical changes within samples during this sample prep step.
