December 1, 2023 – Washington, D.C. – Paladin Capital Group, the multi-stage investor specializing in cyber and advanced technology, is delighted to announce that Duke University Professor David A. Hoffman will join the firm as a Strategic Advisor.

Hoffman is the Duke Sanford School of Public Policy’s Steed Family Professor of the Practice of Cybersecurity Policy and a Senior Lecturing Fellow at the Duke University School of Law. He joined Duke University after spending more than two decades in senior roles in technology law and policy at Intel Corporation.

In addition to his roles at Duke University, Hoffman chairs the Civil Liberties and Privacy Panel for the Director’s Advisory Board for the US National Security Agency. He also chairs the board of the Center for Cybersecurity Policy and Law, and he serves on the Board of the Future of Privacy Forum. Hoffman previously served on the Department of Homeland Security’s Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee and the Board of Directors of the National Cyber Security Alliance

Hoffman will serve on Paladin’s Strategic Advisory Group (SAG), which consists of notable cyber experts who advise the firm’s investment team on the cyber landscape.
