Dixon, former Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence, will join the firm’s Strategic Advisory Group (SAG), a team of experienced advisors specializing in security, government, and commercial markets to support the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio companies.
Dr. Dixon is an established leader in the intelligence and technology fields. She worked in both the legislative and executive branches, and has been a driving force in intelligence integration, cutting-edge research, and strategic leadership. In 2021, Dr. Dixon became the 6th Senate-confirmed Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence. She also served as the 8th Deputy Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the Deputy Director and Director of the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity, and as a Professional Staff Member on the U.S. House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Dr. Dixon is currently a Distinguished Professor of the Practice in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
