Washington D.C. – On the occasion of the swearing-in ceremony of Chris Inglis as the United States Government’s National Cyber Director, Paladin Capital Group, the global cybersecurity investor, congratulates our former colleague on his confirmation by the Senate and his swearing in as the nation’s first National Cyber Director.

Chris has served as a Managing Director at Paladin since stepping down as Deputy Director of the National Security Agency in 2015. At Paladin he was a member of the Investment and Executive Committees.

Michael Steed, Founder and Managing Partner, Paladin Capital Group, commented on his departure:

“Chris Inglis, as Americas’ first National Cyber Director, is an extraordinary leader who stands as the guardian of America’s cyber arsenal of democracy all toward fostering America’s leadership against the tyranny caused by cyber criminals and nation states. In six years as a Paladin Managing Director, Chris has had a front row seat as the cyber threats and vulnerabilities ballooned against our critical infrastructure.

“At Paladin, he has worked with our team and the best minds in deep-tech innovation in our portfolio companies, utilizing new technologies such as AI and cloud computing to demystify and democratize cybersecurity.

“As a member of the Solarium Commission, he helped forge the way ahead, allowing for a coordinated effort between government and the commercial sectors to spark the innovation that will lead to digital solutions to protect America and our allies. We are so proud to have had him on the Paladin team. The world is a safer place with this brilliant individual in such a key cybersecurity leadership position.”
