Racemi Announces $10 Million Series C Funding

Racemi, a provider of automated server migration software, has closed a $10 million Series C round of venture financing. The round included new investors, led by Milestone Venture Partners, along with existing investors Harbert Venture Partners, and Paladin Capital Group.

Newlans, Inc. Closes $20 Million Series B Financing With $5 Million from Verizon Ventures

Newlans, a technology innovator in RF solutions, today announced that it has raised an additional $5 million investment from Verizon Ventures to complete its Series B financing round, totaling $20 million. The initial $15 million closing in February included existing investors Paladin Capital and Lockheed Martin, as well as two new strategic partners. The funding will be used to accelerate the development and commercialization of Newlans’ Programmable Duplexer, targeting front-end radio frequency modules for 4G LTE mobile devices and small cells.

Twist Bioscience Secures $31.1 Million

Twist Bioscience today announced that it raised $26 million in a Series B financing to commercialize the company’s semiconductor-based synthetic gene manufacturing process. Nick and Joby Pritzker, through their family’s firm Tao Invest, led the round, with participation from ARCH Venture Partners, Paladin Capital Group, Yuri Milner and additional strategic corporate and venture investors.

Damballa Raises $13 Million for Global Expansion

Damballa has raised $13 million from existing investors to capitalize on growing demand for its automated breach defenseplatform. The company will leverage the additional funds for North American and international sales expansion, as well as marketing and channel efforts. The fundraising comes on the heels of the company’s best year to date in 2013, and a record Q1 2014.
