Washington, D.C, March 1, 2022 – CalypsoAI, the market leader in testing and validation for artificial intelligence (AI) systems, today announced it has been selected to provide critical test and evaluation services for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) under a $249 million-ceiling Blanket Purchase Agreement.

CalypsoAI will partner with Noblis and i3 to deliver artificial intelligence (AI) testing and evaluation (T&E) capabilities to the DoD that ensure AI systems are trustworthy and robust. This work will leverage CalypsoAI’s extensive experience with AI model testing, evaluation, verification, and validation (TEVV).

“After seeing the challenges with AI deployment firsthand, we founded CalypsoAI with a desire to solve pressing AI challenges for the national security community,” said Neil Serebryany, CEO and co-founder of CalypsoAI. “Since the JAIC is the DoD’s hub for artificial intelligence, we’re particularly thrilled for this opportunity to expand our work with the DoD by supporting the Department’s AI goals in a significant way.”

CalypsoAI is trusted by multiple federal agencies, including the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The company’s commercially-proven capabilities have enabled technical and non-technical stakeholders to independently validate their AI models.
